Something I had planned for awhile, when Bob moved out I started preparing. After 6 years, lots of settling, as this was not a prepared site. Homer is at the end of the Sterling Highway, 220 miles south of Anchorage surrounded by wilderness and ocean. A home base for great fishing , kayaking, bear viewing, hiking, destination weddings, foodie and art vacations. Although the park is located in the area of shopping, charters and the harbor, it is quiet and secure with a 24 hr staffed office.
